If you play the Joust game on your own, you control a knight riding an ostrich. You can repeatedly press the flap button to gain altitude and control your direction using a joystick. Meanwhile, you compete against enemy knights riding buzzards. As you move through the game, you'll collect points. 

In the Joust game's two-player mode, you'll play as either a knight on an ostrich (player 1) or a knight riding a stork (player 2). You cooperatively compete in waves against enemy knights. Or, you have the option to battle one another.
